Hello, my name is Joy Ambrose, and I want to share my journey and why I’ve chosen to step into the world of online business. For 22 years, I worked as a personal support worker, dedicating my life to caring for others. At the same time, I was a wife and mother, doing everything I could to provide for my family. When my husband’s workplace shut down, he took care of the children while I worked three jobs—sometimes morning, afternoon, and overnight shifts—just to keep us afloat. Then, life took a devastating turn. My husband told me he was tired of our marriage and wanted us to sell our home. Our children were still in elementary school, and I couldn’t imagine disrupting their lives like that, so I refused. This led to tensions between us, and eventually, he moved out.
In 2023, I received the most heartbreaking news of my life. A police officer knocked on my door to tell me that my husband had passed away in a fire. I hadn’t even known where he was living until that moment. When I arrived at the house, I saw that, from the outside, only the entrance to the basement had soot. I called the investigator and asked why only my husband’s room had burned, and they told me the case was under investigation.
Eventually, I learned that his roommate had beaten him and set the fire. That tragedy forced me to take a hard look at my life. I had spent years working tirelessly, always putting others first, yet in the end, I felt like I had lost so much. It made me realize that life is too short to spend all my time working while missing out on what truly matters—my family, my faith, and my own well-being. My children had already been through so much, and I knew I needed to be more present for them—to guide them through their grief and heal alongside them.
That’s why I made the decision to start a new chapter with digital business. I needed a way to provide for my family without sacrificing the time we have together. I wanted the freedom to build something for myself—something that aligns with my values and allows me to create a better future for my family. This journey is about more than just earning an income—it’s about taking control of my life, finding purpose, and trusting that God has a bigger plan for me. I believe that this new path will not only support my family but also allow me to help and inspire others who may be searching for a way forward. I am ready to embrace this new beginning, and I pray for strength, guidance, and success in this journey.
